Gift Aid Information

The Gift Aid scheme allows charitable and non-profit organisations to reclaim the basic rate income tax from His Majesty’s Revenue & Customs. As a rough guide this means that for every £1 donated charities, including LLLGB, receive an extra 25p.

All LLLGB memberships and one off donations are eligible for the Gift Aid scheme.

 

Am I eligible to Gift Aid my donation?

  • You must be a resident in the UK (you also qualify if you are Crown servants or members of the UK armed forces serving overseas.)
  • You must pay enough UK income tax and/or capital gains tax to cover the amount of tax the charity will reclaim.
  • You must also provide La Leche League GB with a gift aid declaration. This happens automatically when you donate to La Leche League GB using PayPal.

 

How can I Gift Aid my donation to La Leche League GB?

Donations and memberships to La Leche League GB through this site are handled by a payment port. La Leche League GB uses these details to claim the tax back from HMRC.
