When you become a member, you help ensure that free breastfeeding support is there for every family who needs it – today and in the future.
All our support is free and provided by volunteers – but it does cost money to provide.
For just £3 a month or £36 a year, you can become a supporting member of LLLGB.
Your membership helps to make this possible:
- train, insure, and equip our volunteer Leaders
- provide in-person and online support meetings
- run our popular antenatal breastfeeding course
- produce our podcast
- offer our phone callback service
- maintain trusted information on our website and social media
Every membership helps someone find support when they need it most.
Supporting LLLGB through membership is a meaningful way to pay forward the support you receive.

Standard Membership
Receive paper (UK only) or electronic version of Breastfeeding Matters
From £36.00 a year.
Gift (one off)
Treat a new mother to the perfect gift – A one year membership of LLLGB.
From £36.00
Yearly (Professional)
Receive paper (UK only) or electronic newsletter, and a £10 voucher for the LLLGB shop.
From £55 a year
Yearly (Leader Alumnae)
Receive the electronic version of Breastfeeding Matters and several other alumnae benefits
£18 a year
Payments are set up by Direct Debit. You can cancel at any time through your bank or GoCardless.
Or if you prefer, you can make a one-off or regular donation.
Gift Aid
Ticking the Gift Aid box means LLLGB can get an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
To Gift Aid your LLLGB membership (including for previous years), complete the Gift Aid declaration form.
Breastfeeding Matters
All of our members receive six issues a year of our members’ newsletter Breastfeeding Matters either through the post or online.
We are always looking for stories and content for Breastfeeding Matters including personal stories, toddler talk, meet a mother, mothers on a range of topics, poems, recipes etc. If you would like to feature in our newsletter, you can do so here. All contributors will receive a digital and paper copy of the magazine if they wish.
