On the 14th and 15th of October we held our Conference
celebrating 60 years of LLLI and 45 years of LLLGB.
LLL Leaders, members and supporters travelled to Derbyshire from across Europe to attend. Our wonderful line-up of international speakers included: Professor Helen Ball, Assoc Professor Kerstin Hedberg Nyqvist, Dr Amali Lokugamage, Diane Wiessinger, Teresa Pitman, Laura Dodsworth.
It was a much appreciated opportunity to spend time in an environment where mothers and breastfeeding are valued, where our choices are respected, where children are expected to be seen and heard.
The pictures and ‘storifys’ in the links give a taste of the event. Look out for more posts about our Conference in the coming weeks!
