La Leche League Barnet

Our group meets fortnightly on Fridays, from 10am until 11.30am. Our meeting venue is the Hope Corner Community Centre (185 Mays Lane, Barnet, EN5 2DY). Meeting dates are on our website and Facebook page (see below).

Access to Leader support locally and nationally is also continuing via social media (Facebook groups) and via email. All the necessary details are regularly updated on our website: lllbarnet.weebly.com. 

Our fortnightly meetings are open to all mothers and family members who are planning to/ trying to breastfeed, or actively breastfeeding or mixed feeding babies and children of any age, and needing or offering support. 

The meetings are in the Hope Corner on Mays Lane (EN5): our lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable venue we have been enjoying meetings in, in an easily accessible location, with free parking and a cafe on site, offering freshly prepared food and snacks. 

In the effort of making an additional gesture to embrace and reach out towards all ages and stages of breastfeeding support, we also run a Beyond 1 Year/Toddler WhatsApp group community. You will need to get in touch with the group leaders directly before being added. Please email us and explain your background, need to be added.

We run seasonal ‘socials’ throughout the year, including our spring ‘bluebell walk’, summer picnic and autumn and winter parties, as these special occasions can be the most well attended events with a lot of fun and informal support happening!
