About LLLGB
La Leche League GB provides free information and support for anyone who is breastfeeding, wants to learn more about breastfeeding, or is supporting someone else to breastfeed.
Limits of our role
This information has been provided by a La Leche League Leader, a volunteer breastfeeding counsellor accredited by La Leche League International.
Leaders have a wide knowledge and experience of breastfeeding but are not medically trained and cannot diagnose medical conditions. If you have a medical query, or concerns about your own health or your child’s health, please contact a health professional such as your midwife, health visitor, GP, NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999 or attend your nearest emergency department.
