Need Breastfeeding Help? Please read this before submitting a Help Form
Use the Breastfeeding Help Form to submit a breastfeeding question to an accredited La Leche League Leader. This volunteer will answer your question within a week (usually less, but please allow for busy periods). If you need an immediate answer, contact a Leader in your area by calling the La Leche League Helpline on 0845 120 2918. If your question is a medical emergency for the mother or baby, please contact your health care provider IMMEDIATELY, or go to the nearest accident and emergency department without delay.
Do you have spam blocker, or something similar that blocks email from strangers? In order to receive a response, you may need to either turn this off or check your spam folder. This helps our volunteers to help you. Please check your "junk mail" folder if you filter messages - you will not "know" the person who answers your question, so the email may get filtered.
The person answering your question may turn to her support personnel to get the most accurate information to help you, but your name and email address will not be shared with others. The answer you will receive will be tailored to your individual situation and meant for you, personally. Since the information you receive may not be appropriate for another person in another situation, PLEASE DO NOT SHARE YOUR HELP FORM RESPONSE IN A PUBLIC FORUM WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE LEADER WHO WROTE IT

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your question will be answered by a volunteer La Leche League Leader, whose area of expertise is breastfeeding management, not by a board of medical or legal experts or by a professional breastfeeding researcher. Consult health-care professionals on any medical issue, as La Leche League Leaders are not medical practitioners. Consult a lawyer with legal questions, as La Leche League Leaders are not lawyers. Consult textbooks if you are looking for help with your research paper or contact the LLLI Center for Breastfeeding Information. Questions outside the realm of mother-to-mother breastfeeding support will not be answered.
